Rice Lake Trail System (RLTS)

There are five segments - Cedar Side, Campus Loop, Sunset, Main Street, and Moon Lake - that comprise 9 1/2 miles of paved, off-road trails that are great for hiking, biking and snowshoeing.

Ice Age Trail

Encompassing part of the Tuscobia trail, this 1,200 mile trail leads from St. Croix Falls, passes just north of Rice Lake, and then all the way to Sturgeon Bay in Door County.

Green Trees

Tuscobia State Trail​

Hike it. Bike it. Snowmobile it. The Tuscobia State Trail is a 76-mile route heading east from Rice Lake, all the way to Park Falls, WI.

Wild Rivers Trail

This multi-use trail heads north from Rice Lake’s city limits, taking snowmobilers, ATVers, hikers and bikers almost 100 miles, all the way to Superior, WI.

Additional Nearby Trails

And… There is also an incredible network of trails in the nearby Rusk County forests that continue north into Sawyer County.​
