Changes

Ch- Ch- Changes… It’s a song by David Bowie. But it’s also something coming to VisitRiceLake.com. Bottom line is this: you spoke … and we listened!

Options

Numerous emails from local business owners told us they wanted to be listed in more than one category on our website. Others mentioned a desire for customizable options for listing packages. Still other emails from browsers stated that they wanted reduced ad clutter on the site. We’ve wanted those things, too!

Our Goal

Without all of the details, here is the skinny. We have always had a single goal in mind whenever we design a website – no matter for whom we design it. And that goal is to bring more business to our client’s business.

Changes Taking Place

That same philosophy was what led us to the decision to design VisitRiceLake.com in the first place. In order to accomplish what you have asked, some ch-ch-changes will be taking place (we can’t get it all done in a short period of time). Some will be happy with the changes, some will not. Some may not care one way of the other.

Links to business websites

Beginning in late March, the structure of VisitRiceLake.com will undergo some changes; the look of the site will be slightly different. Current complimentary listings on VisitRiceLake.com will begin to revert to text listings only. Images, links and descriptive text will be removed. Links to business websites may remain active for a brief time while we make the conversion.

Listing Packages

The new structure on the site will be tiered; tiers will include 1) a Basic Listing Package, 2) a Featured Listing Package, and 3) a premium / Ultimate Listing Package. For a printable flyer that compares all three (3) packages, follow this link to get a better picture of the tiers and their cost. We have endeavored to make all packages as affordable as possible. If you’re ready to choose a package and sign up, visit our Feature Your Business page to get started!

Options, Goals, & Budget

Each tier is strategically curated to offer varying levels of visibility and marketing support, allowing businesses to select the option that best aligns with their goals and budget. For those businesses currently without a secure, standalone website, an opportunity will now exist that will offer a (reasonably priced) solution to that issue.

Reach Out

As a final but very important note, pages on the site achieving three (3) or more tier package sign-ups will begin to show a significant reduction in ad clutter. Selection of an Ultimate package will have all ads removed from the page.
